Thanks so much for being here, I’m Dee !

I have always loved bringing a camera everywhere. Living abroad, celebratory events, sunrises and sunsets, with the dog on his adventures, travelling around the world.. Looking back on great times, (although the dog never says much) friends & family frequently comment- “Thank God Dee brought her camera”.

Having completed general nursing, adding a degree in midwifery, led me to Cork University Maternity Hospital, where I feel very proudly associated to. Practising as a midwife in the Delivery Suite has allowed me to be part of life’s most powerful first moments.. Where women inspire me everyday, where couples share their most intimate moments, where babies are full of surprises & where the awe of birth repeatedly takes my breath away.

In November 2025, I decided that blending my love for new life & photography felt like a natural extension of where my time and energy should go.

Mirroring my style of nursing & midwifery, my photography sessions will be calm, baby-led & unhurried - creating natural images that reflect the tenderness of these early days. Relax in your home, let me come & go, knowing your baby was in safe, caring and experienced hands.

I want to document family interactions that feel timeless. I hope you look at them in years to come, and with with a soft smile find yourself saying “Thank God Dee brought her camera”.
